Frenship Memorial High School Names Head Boys Golf Coach

Frenship is happy to welcome Matthew White as Frenship Memorial High School’s first boys golf coach. White joins the Frenship Family with 11 years of coaching and teaching experience and brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to Panther Nation.

White has held multiple coaching roles throughout his career, including head coach positions in boys and girls golf, basketball, and tennis, along with assistant roles in football and baseball. His previous stops include Levelland, Shallowater, and Whitharral ISDs.

A graduate of Texas Tech University, White met his wife, Heather, while in college. Both are originally from the Lubbock area and are excited to be part of a community rooted in tradition and excellence.

“I could not pass up the opportunity to coach a sport that I love in a community and school district characterized by excellence,” said White. “I cannot wait to get to know our players, students, and parents and build a program that displays the same excellence that defines Frenship ISD.”

The Whites have three children: Jackson, Hunter, and Aubrey. They look forward to continuing their journey as part of the Frenship Family.
