Based on demographic studies, Frenship High School is expected to reach capacity in 2023. This bond includes the construction of a second, comprehensive high school that would serve 2,500 students. Frenship Memorial High School is scheduled to open in the Fall of 2025.
As of the 2024-2025 school year, Frenship ISD has more than 11,600 students across the district with nearly 3,300 high school students in 9-12 grade currently enrolled at FHS and the Ninth Grade Center.
Frenship Memorial High School will have the same academic and extracurricular opportunities as Frenship High School. Shared facilities between Frenship Memorial High School and Frenship High School include Peoples Bank Stadium and the Agricultural facilities.
With the opening of Frenship Memorial High School, the current Ninth Grade Center campus will no longer be needed to house ninth grade students and will be re-purposed to serve as the new Frenship Middle School campus.
