Lindsey Pierson
Hello and welcome to Memorial High School, home of the Frenship Memorial Theatre Company! My name is Lindsey Pierson, and I am one of the theatre directors at MHS. What a privilege and honor it is to be a part of your child's journey.
I received my BA from Harding University and my Masters in Deaf Education from Texas Tech University. Fun Fact: I also hold a cosmetology license! I began my teaching career in 2005 and have been teaching theatre at Frenship since 2019. I am married to my husband, Chris, and we have two sons, Hays and Drew.
My goal is to create a space in our school where all students can walk in, take off their armor, and open their heart to truly being seen. In Theatre, we do this by diving into stories and recreating the human experience on stage to inspire courage in others. Theatre encompasses so many skills- design, makeup, costuming, technology, acting, lighting, sound, and much more.
I have been "bitten by the Theatre bug" and hope to pull others into that joy.
There is magic in the theatre, and the theatre is magic...
And truly blessed are those who are able to share their talents with others.
