Lindsey Pierson
Welcome to Memorial High School Theatre! My name is Lindsey Pierson, and I am one of the directors at MHS. What a privilege and honor it is to be a part of your child's journey.
I received my BA from Harding University and my Masters in Deaf Education from Texas Tech University. Fun Fact: I also hold a cosmetology license! I began my teaching career in 2005 and have been teaching theatre at Frenship since 2019. I am married to my husband, Chris, and we have two sons, Hays and Drew.
My goal is to create a space in our school where all students can show up, take off their armor, and truly be seen. In Theatre, we do this by recreating the human experience on stage to inspire courage in others. Theatre encompasses so many skills: design, makeup, costuming, technology, acting, lighting, sound, and much more.
I have been "bitten by the Theatre bug" and hope to pull others into that joy.
There is magic in the theatre, and the theatre is magic...
