I am originally from Abilene, Texas where I graduated from Abilene Wylie High School. I then attended Hardin Simmons University where I played football and received my bachelor's in education & Masters in Kinesiology.

After graduation, I left Abilene to become the running backs coach at Texas A&M Kingsville, four months later I accepted a full-time position from at Hardin-Simmons as the Special Teams Coordinator / WR Coach 2017 - 2023. 

In 2024 I left HSU to take on the same role at Abilene Wylie High school where my father is the Head Football Coach and has worked there for over 30 years.

 

My family consists of my beautiful wife, Madison Martin and our two kids Tommy & Taylor.

My wife is also employed here at Frenship Memorial as the Head Women's Soccer Coach.

We have both been a part of culture rich programs playing or coaching and our main goal is to pass along the life lessons and character traits so many coaches poured into us.

 

We cannot wait to see what God has in store for our family and the kids that he has placed in our lives.
