Hello and welcome!   I am Sra. Hook.

I have proudly been part of the Frenship family since 2017 and am excited to begin a new chapter this year at Memorial High School, GO Panthers!

Before joining Frenship, I taught in a dual language program in El Paso, Texas, an experience that deepened my passion for bilingual education and student growth.

I hold a Master’s in Education as an Instructional Specialist with a concentration in Bilingual Education from The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), a Bachelor of Arts in Electronic Media with a Spanish minor, and a Master’s in Educational Administration (M.Ed.) from Lamar University.

I believe that learning a language opens doors to new worlds, perspectives, and opportunities. Language is more than a skill, it’s a bridge that connects people, cultures, and possibilities. My goal is to inspire students to embrace challenges, believe in their potential, and use their voices to make a difference.

This year, I am teaching Spanish 2 Honors and Dual Language, Spanish 3 Honors and Dual Language, and Spanish 3 Dual Credit. I look forward to building strong connections with my students and partnering with our amazing community to make this school year one to remember!

I enjoy traveling, sports - especially soccer, photography, and crafts. But my favorite pastime is spending quality time with my family doing fun activities.
