Hi! My name is Emily Hix, and I will be teaching Culinary Arts level 1 at Frenship Memorial High School! This is my fourth-year teaching for Frenship ISD and my fifth-year teaching in general! I graduated with a B.S. in Family and Consumer Science Education from Texas Tech University in 2021, then did one year teaching Culinary Arts in the DFW area before coming back to Lubbock and joining FISD where I have taught Culinary Arts 1, Advanced Culinary Arts, and Practicum of Culinary Arts. 

 

I am so excited to be a Panther this year and be a part of the first Memorial family!
