Hi! My name is Emily Hix, I am the Culinary Arts Department Head, and I will be teaching Advanced Culinary Arts at Frenship Memorial High School! This is my fifth-year teaching for Frenship ISD and my sixth-year teaching in general! I graduated with a B.S. in Family and Consumer Science Education from Texas Tech University in 2021, then did one year teaching Culinary Arts in the DFW area before coming back to Lubbock and joining FISD where I have taught Culinary Arts 1, Advanced Culinary Arts, and Practicum of Culinary Arts.
