My name is Marissa Ramos and I am one of the Broadcast Media teachers at Memorial High School. This will be my 4th year in education and my 1st year with FISD!

 

I am an alumni of Frenship High School, class of 2015! I graduated with my Bachelors of Arts in Journalism from Texas Tech University in 2018 and then again with my Masters of Arts with an emphasis in Sports PR in 2020, also from Texas Tech! Wreck'Em Tech!!

 

Some fun facts about me, my whole family works for the district in some shape or form, and we have been a part of FISD since 2006. If I am not teaching, you will catch me watching some sporting event and probably yelling my heart out. I am a big reader so I probably have a book with me as well. 

 

I am blessed everyday to get to wake up and teach for a living. I truly believe I was called to do this and I give all glory to God. I am so excited to be a part of history and I am so happy to be a Panther! I cannot wait to see what this year holds!
