Greetings, my name is John Cadena. I am originally from San Antonio, Texas, and have proudly called Lubbock home for the past five years. I am the father of two daughters, both of whom attend Frenship ISD schools. Before becoming an educator, I served eight years in the United States military, an experience that helped shape my appreciation for service, leadership, and education. I earned a bachelor's degree in History from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, a bachelor's degree in Chicano History from the University of Texas at El Paso, and a master's degree in Public History from St. Mary's University in San Antonio. I have a passion for history, reading, and learning, and enjoy sharing that enthusiasm with my students. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my daughters, reading, and relaxing at with my dog and two cats. I am excited to be part of the Frenship community and look forward to a wonderful school year!
